Monday. I'm lamenting for the nth time how I'm stuck in a job i don't like and i'm not even good at. Sad no? Pero I can't do anything about it for now. This morning my sister and I got to talk about our career and how we got to finish college without even liking the course we took. Lanie had it so much better. Slaving in med school but thoroughly enjoying it. After our two younger sisters finish college, ate wants to try law school. I think it suits her, considering that she got uno at all her law subjects. Ako, maybe business management since I've always been negosyante and had several sidelines going on that pays for my credit and support my nightlife in manila.
Meanwhile. Got me a straight perm yesterday. Aiyee. Nagpabinyag ako sa isang posh na parlor somewhere in Sakae. The staff are all super polite as expected and the service is excellent. My hairstylist did a great job. He speaks passable English and is a bit chatty. I told him that it was my first time to have a my hair done in Japan so I'm kinda scared. He assured me he's good at this thing and so I left my hair at his mercy. At one point when he was drying my hair he pointed out that most pinoys don't like drying their hair. They go out in the street with hair still wet. We call it the 'wet look'. Its certainly a far cry from the women here who spends a lot of time drying hair and not just drying, it's like they're always styled for a hair styling competition or something. They are so made up even caucasians look so out of place and jologs with their ponytailed hair, baggy shirts and jeans.

I swear I'm so over with my summer shopping. Enough na!

I just finished incorporating all the comments made by the client and there's four training materials waiting to be learned. One problem though is that all of it is written in Japanese. My genkiness started to crumble after trying to translate the sentences into English with babel translator. Somewhere between sea urchin and street I decided to give up. Sasakit lang ang ulo ko. Pakshet. I'm meeting bear after work at Kami Otai eki. We're going to buy a tripod in Osu. After all those Bicol shot with Bojek's tripod I'm fancying one for myself so I can get decent nightshots with my digicam na.

I'm dreaming of getting a year older sunbathing in Hawaii or partying in Shanghai.

Gaaad. I have this huge craving for Tater's popcorn smothered in butter. And turon. And siopao. And halo-halo.
It's been a good day at work. Finished checking the drawings on one unit, refreshed my memory by watching all SPI7 training videos, ESL customization. I'll practice hands on next week once I get the licenses updated.

I promise to reward myself this omoshiroi book and this extravagant slippers once i finish all the lessons of my Minna Nihonggo I.

k: word of the day
k: Lachrymology - teaches the simple belief that crying is the best emotional release and should be encouraged as therapeutic. Tool's lyrical message often reflects this in their candid expressions of anger and frustration. People who endorse lachrymology often believe that it is only through pain (both physical and emotional) and recovery that an individual can advance him or her self, adopting a slight "whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger" mentality.

My weekend was quite productive. I gave my flat its much needed spring cleaning. I just finished sorting my clothes in the closet. Pulled out spring and summer clothes, stored all the winter clothes and coats inside a huge plastic case. All clothes I have worn once and never since was reluctantly placed in trash bags.
On Sunday, I enrolled myself at Kaiwa I again. Repeater kunbaga. I haven't finished the course due to my business trip in Manila. Ayoko naman magmukang clueless sa Kaiwa II noh. After the enrollment I returned the two-month overdue books in NIC Library. I thought I'd get a thrasing for that but hell no, japanese are the nicest people ever.
Finally had my cellphone security code reset at docomo support office in Oasis21. My old security code was changed when V visited last September. He wasn't admitting that he changed the damn code so maybe the phone changed the code itself.
Before going home Jay wanted to check the new stuffs to be won at one game center in Sakae. With a lot of luck on our side that evening we went home with a lava lamp and soccer ball (brazil colors) from adidas.

i've been reading archived ym conversations from k and i realized that life is not that colorful the time he was gone. he had touched my life in positively unspoken ways that his absence created a hollow space in me.
it seems odd because i was the one who let go of our friendship. and sadly, he agreed on his own reason.
i could have written him an email - how i missed our daily correspondence, his jokes, his patience in putting up with all my drama and kaek-ekan, his concern over me. i missed him badly. but alas, my pride is bigger than my longing.

i didn't hear anything from him anymore. not since last week after he begged to see me that weekend and i shut him off.
at last my kahibangan is finally over.

I have to end my long hiatus of putting my thoughts into words. My memory lapses are getting worse by the day. Oftentimes I have to think hard what I did yesterday, or what clothes did I wear the other day. It's disconcerting.
What's to become of me?
What's to become of me?

My nine day summer vacation (including 2 weekends) starts in about 7 hours and 10 minutes.
I'll pick V at Chubu International Airport tommorrow at noon. He'll be staying here for two weeks and I intend to make his stay worthwhile. All the plans I made are seamless. I just hope drama will be set aside for a while.
