nuod ako ng spiderman 2 mamaya. makiki-hitch sa band wagon ng spiderman fever.

this week couldn't get any worse....

= postponed ang trip namin to india. yesterday we were called for a closed door meeting regarding our business trip. they said that our assignment will be delayed for about a month. something to do with global management issues and tax chuvachoo... i was a bit disappointed but what got me to worry was the thought of how i am gonna explain the situation to my mother. maraming pwedeng mangyari for a whole month and if sinuwerte kami chances are na di na talaga matutuloy. tsk.

= our project milestone incentive will be next week - not this week. ergo i'll be late on paying my bills na naman and siempre along that is the late billing charges.

= my line was cut-off. di umabot sa cut-off ung binayad ko. now i have to pay my balance in full.

= i only have a week on project charging. after a week, overhead na ko.

on the bright side...

= i got a gift from K. sobrang cutie na purple hippo and a silver necklace. i named him kch. =) u made me sooo happy. thanks and a thousand kisses for you!

oh and for peter too. lab you guys!

Next time I brag that intools indexing is easy - please gag me for i definitely do not know what i'm talking about. I'm having a huge headache just looking at the volume of blank fields waiting to be filled-up with hook-up details, schematic drawings, support drawing details blah blah...

Uurgh...

A week and a half to go before I'm off to India. I haven't made preparations yet. Still waiting for the delivery of my passport. Several days ago I was at DFA early morning with Mom. She wasn't let inside so I have no choice but to go alone. The first line was a bit long and i waited for half an hour. But after the screening the line thru billing and cashier were a breeze.

This morning Aidz and I visited the HR to get our requirements for the Delhi assignment. Looks like I'm really going to India. I'm scared and excited. On the upside, Che was asked for her resume din. SO I guess it's probable she'll come with us. Yay! If tuloy na tuloy na, it'll be a 4-6 months assignment.

At work I'm helping on the loops. My first time so it's worth blogging about. =)

At the CPAP meeting at lunch I was asked to give a short report on the activities we had for the last two quarters and of the coming months. Told our advisers about me coordinating with the HR department and proposing a leadership training/teambuilding outside of the office. I think I went on convincing them that the proposed training will enhance our competencies and that kind of crap. I also mentioned our upcoming plant visit on Shell Tabangaw which I haven't called yet. So there.

Ok. I'm off to the ball game. Most of the CS guys will be playing and we are going to cheer for them. =)

Yet another one of 'em horoscope...

June 7, 2004

In June you may have more social obligations, dear Libra, than you can comfortably handle. Because it gives you such pleasure to mix with like-minded people and share your goals and ideas, it is sometimes difficult for you to draw the line between what is in your best interest, and what is not. And, since you are ever gracious and hate to disappoint anyone, it may be difficult to refuse any invitation. Be selective. When the Full Moon occurs on June 3, reduce your list to a select few. Your potential for success at this time, especially in any area where you are cooperating with others, is excellent. However, there is a need for discrimination. It is also possible that someone from your past has reappeared in your life. On June 8, a special moment between you is featured. When the New Moon combines with Mercury in Gemini on June 17, you may schedule a short trip for business or pleasure. This could involve an opportunity to speak before a group. When Mercury moves into Cancer on June 20, family activities are likely to be a priority. Career matters could require sensitive handling around June 23, particularly if your work involves dealing with the public at large. On June 24, Mars moves into Leo and will launch a period of pleasurable and validating social interactions. This is an excellent time to promote your own interests, especially with groups that share your ideals. At the end of the month, Venus turns direct in Gemini. Find time in your busy schedule for a private moment with your sweetheart.

During rainy days on weekends you will find me sulking in my room reading, sleeping, eating and in between cursing the rain. Well not this time. I've been outdoors unmindful of the rain with v. Last Saturday v & i attended a children's bday party of his friend's kid at Laguna. It was a gloomy afternoon. We were one of the few who arrived early. Most of the guests were still stuck in traffic. It was quite an expensive party for a one-year old. After all the guests has arrived the program was started. There were clowns, bubble show, games - a typical children's party.

Later that night we jumped at the jacuzzi. The host brought bottles of beer, pitcher and plastic cups which Ramz and I opened and started to distribute. The guys talked about business. I was left to chat with an amiable girl named peewee. She was one of the few batchmate of Ramil's, who applied at Fluor a few year's back. We gossiped a bit about Mike A. which turned out to be her fling.

After soaking in the pool for two hour v and i decided to go home and call it a night. The drive back to alabang was pretty easy and during the trip v was holding my hand while i fell asleep.

Sunday 2:30 a.m.

Woke up in the middle of the night with a loud thud of books falling down the floor. It was weird since my books are piled snuggly on the corner of one wall acoss the window. Only an earthquake or a cat climbing on it could tumble it down. The windows and the door was closed. There wasn't even the slightest sound in the room save for the constant buzz of the fan. Still in a daze and a bit frightened I stood up, started picking up the books and piled them neatly on the floor, grabbed my pillows and raced to my mom's room.

"Ma?" I whispered and slowly walked to her dark room. I heard a soft mumble then she turned sideways and asked what time it was. I answered and climbed on the other side of the bed. It wasn't that long before she was asleep again. I could feel the warmth of her back and the silk nightdress across my shoulders. Her scent was all over the room, and in that moment i knew that i was safe... and that's when i fall asleep.

A few notes on what transpired this day:

I have never seen Habal so red ever. During the practice and townhall meeting we kept on offering him water in which he politely refuse. Was sure he was about to faint anytime.

We were the second group to perform. When I sang the first chorus, I noticed the judges were bobbing their heads with the tune.

Other groups were great. One team made a re-enactment of the charlie video. Another a Maala-ala mo Kaya sitcom - there sound effects and music was awesome.

We won first place in our IIF TCO presentation.

Watched gene's basketball game after the presentation.

They lost. But the game was tight. Last two minutes became 15 minutes. I was literally catching my breath watching the game. We all thought they're gonna play overtime. But the green team shoot the ball 2 seconds after the time.

V picked me up after the game.

Dinner at Gerry's

Had a blast hanging-out at Time Zone.
