There's always the endless search of finding the perfect pair of pants, the dress that hugs your body without a glitch, or the fab top hoping that it could transform us into the idealized vision we hold of ourselves. In the fitting room, we are more than naked, we are exposed to all emotional elements. Of vanity, joy, self-depreciation, forgiveness and consideration. We are yearning for approval and we try to seize that one person that most of the time eludes us - the ideal self as we would like others to see it. We are trying on our feelings as much as we are trying on a pair of really fabulous slacks.
